Stainless Steel Separators
Description
The Stainless Steel Separator removes stainless steel and weakly magnetic metals from wire fractions sized 20 mm or smaller. As well as being a valuable commodity, stainless steel can often go unnoticed during the separation process and may cause damage to processing equipment such as crushers. By using the Eriez Stainless Steel Separator, most stainless steel residues can be effectively recovered in a much more economical way.
The Stainless Steel Separator (P) is an ultra–high-intensity metal separator. Thanks to its uniquely designed magnetic roll—capable of extracting large and heavy weakly magnetic materials (stainless steel up to 125 mm)—the process is able to continue smoothly. The magnetic cylinders utilize the strongest permanent magnets currently available (22,000 Gauss – peak point).
It is designed specifically for the separation of small weakly magnetic particles (<20 mm). This technology is well proven across various industries.
Two standard pulley diameters—100 mm (4″) and 150 mm (6″); stainless steel frame discharge ends to prevent magnetic induction caused by extremely high magnetic fields; frame equipped with forklift lifting pockets for easy placement and relocation; 5 mm shaped side guards on the belt to contain and control material flow; heavy-duty urethane belt; optional permanent over-belt magnets or plate magnets can be added for separating strongly magnetic materials.
