Vertical Shaft Crusher
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Tertiary crushers are used to crush medium-sized hard and abrasive quarry and river materials to produce sand and gravel, and to cubicize and refine flat materials discharged from the cone crusher.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The material falls from the feeding hopper toward the rapidly rotating rotor, where it is crushed around the rotor by high-speed centrifugal force. After colliding with each other, the material is further crushed between the rotor and the chamber before being discharged from the lower section. This process may be repeated multiple times, and the screen assembly determines the final product particle size.

APPLICATION AREAS
This machine is widely used for the powder processing of mineral products, including metallic and non-metallic minerals, refractory materials, bauxite, diamond dust, glass, industrial raw materials, construction materials, and artificial sand. It is significantly more advantageous than other machines, especially in processing the hardest materials. Today, it has replaced hammer and rod crushers and has become essential equipment in the sand production field.
OTHER APPLICATION AREAS
• Crushing natural stones used in riverbed materials
• Reducing the size of materials for grinding, maximizing fine material ratio for cement processing
• Producing cubical material in limestone, basalt, and dolomite quarries
• Producing sand, gravel, and aggregate for concrete and asphalt production
• Producing fine aggregate materials used in road asphalt construction
• Reducing the size of coke coal added by spraying to increase the carbon ratio in liquid steel
TECHNICAL FEATURES
• Diamond inserts that increase crushing performance
• Vibration pads preventing vibration transfer to the machine body
• Manganese steel plates used to prevent wear on the crusher walls
• Electric motor–driven hydraulic unit (used for belt tensioning and upper body lifting)
• Maintenance platform
• Speed control with inverter
• Automation control panel (crusher feeding control)
• Three SKF bearings in the drive system
• Long-lasting rotor
• High crushing capacity and efficiency
• Easy rotor maintenance and replacement
• Autogenous crushing mechanism (crushing material by material), reducing spare part costs
• Controlled automatic feeding with motor maintenance protection
• High reduction ratio
• Feed current control
