Electromagnetic Filter
Product Description
Electromagnetic filters capture iron particles and paramagnetic particles in liquids and slurries and are suitable for high temperatures (up to 700 °C) and heavy-duty conditions. They can run 3–10 times faster than conventional filters.
Unlike chemical and biological filters, they offer an environmentally friendly purification method.
How It Works
Automatically fed liquid or slurry passes through a matrix magnetised by the coil, and ferromagnetic and paramagnetic particles are held on the matrix. The cleaned liquid continues through the outlet. At intervals the coil is switched off and the matrix is flushed.
Applications
Ceramic plants
Wet purification of minerals such as feldspar and quartz (about 30% more efficient than other wet methods)
Glass and industrial raw materials
Food lines (e.g. chocolate production)
Advantages
Withstands high temperatures and heavy duty
Timed automatic feeding
Easy to install and relocate
Economical compared with other separators
Easy-to-use control panel
Technical Data
