Also known in the industry as a Rotary Kiln, this equipment is used to heat materials to high temperatures (calcination) in a continuous process. Rotary kilns are used in the processing of cement, lime, refractory materials, pellet iron ore, and many other industrial materials.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:

The process material is fed into the upper end of the rotating cylinder. As the kiln rotates, the material gradually moves toward the lower end and is subjected to a certain degree of mixing and agitation during this movement.
