Magnetic Grates and Tubes

Product Description

A magnetic grate is an array of high-intensity magnetic tubes mounted in a frame. It captures fine iron contamination from powders, granules and liquids, protecting both the product and process equipment. It fits easily in hoppers, chutes, ducts and bin outlets.

The tubes contain neodymium (NdFeB) or ferrite magnets sealed in stainless steel and are fully waterproof. Size and tube spacing are designed for the customer's line.

How It Works

As material flows between the tubes, iron and iron-bearing particles are attracted to and held on the tube surface. Cleaning is done manually by wiping the collected material off the tubes, with no power required.
