Rare Earth Roll Magnetic Separator

Product Description

The rare earth roll magnetic separator is a high-intensity, roll-type dry separator with NdFeB magnets. It is used to upgrade and purify materials with low magnetic susceptibility in the 0.1–25 mm size range.

The special arrangement of rare earth magnets creates a very high attractive force at the roll surface, so weakly magnetic and fine minerals can be separated with high efficiency.

How It Works

Crushed and screened material with no more than 5% moisture is fed evenly from the hopper onto a thin belt that runs between a magnetic and a non-magnetic roll. At the magnetic roll, non-magnetic particles are thrown off by centrifugal force, while magnetic particles stay on the belt until they leave the roll's field and fall into the magnetic chute.

Applications

  • Iron removal from ceramic and glass raw materials

  • Cleaning quartz, feldspar, clay and glass sand

  • Magnesite, chromite and boron upgrading

  • Beach and mineral sands

  • Limestone, dolomite, bauxite and refractory raw materials

  • Cleaning foundry sand

Advantages

  • Anti-static Kevlar belt

  • Inverter-controlled drive

  • Adjustable stainless steel splitter

  • Variable-speed vibratory feeder or feed roll for fine material
