Roll Crusher
Product Description
Roll crushers are designed for primary, secondary and tertiary crushing of coal, salt, clay, bauxite, limestone, trona and similar friable materials. They are widely used in mining, power generation and recycling.
Their main advantages are high capacity, the ability to handle wet and sticky material, and low dust generation. A relief system lets the rolls open to pass uncrushable material and then return to their original setting.
How It Works
Material is broken by impact, shear and compression between a rotating roll and a breaker plate or between a pair of rolls. Single or double roll designs are used for one-stage reduction, triple or quad roll designs for two-stage reduction. Because material breaks along its natural cleavage lines, fines generation is minimised.
