Pneumatic Self-Cleaning Magnetic Filter
Product Description
The pneumatic self-cleaning magnetic filter is a drawer filter whose magnetic tubes are cleaned automatically by pneumatic cylinders. It gives continuous iron removal in powder and granule lines without stopping the flow.
Thanks to its pneumatic design, energy use is low, about 0.5 kW over an 8-hour shift. It can be built to custom dimensions.
How It Works
As material flows between rows of magnetic tubes, ferrous particles are held on the tube surfaces. At set intervals a pneumatic cylinder draws the tubes through wiper plates and the captured iron is discharged through a separate channel.
