Product Description
The manually cleaned suspended magnet is a permanent, power-free separator that holds iron and ferromagnetic pieces from conveyed material. It protects crushers, mills and screens from sharp tramp iron.
It can be built to any size to suit belt width and burden depth. Strontium ferrite or NdFeB magnets are used depending on the duty.
How It Works
Suspended above the conveyor, the magnet lifts iron pieces from the belt and holds them on its face. The collected pieces are cleaned off by hand at regular intervals.
