Vibrating Electromagnetic Separator
Product Description
The vibrating electromagnetic separator is used for magnetic separation of minerals below 100 microns, such as quartz, feldspar, nepheline syenite, calcite, barite and talc, which cannot be upgraded with conventional roll separators.
It runs fully automatically, needs no operator and is suitable for 24-hour operation.
How It Works
The micronised mineral passes through a special matrix system. The high field strength produced by the electromagnetic coil holds weakly magnetic particles on the matrix. A vibration system keeps the fine powder flowing through the matrix continuously without blocking.
Applications
Quartz and feldspar
Nepheline syenite
Calcite, barite and talc
Advantages
Effective iron removal from minerals below 100 microns
Fully automatic, no operator needed
Continuous 24-hour operation
Short lead time, on-site installation, trial production and training
Technical Data
Field strength: 22,000 gauss (approx. 18,000 gauss at the matrix)
Capacity: 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 t/h
