Wet Drum Separator
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Wet Magnetic Drum Separators are commonly used in heavy-media plants and iron ore processing to recover and upgrade magnetic materials/ferro silicon. These separators extract magnetic material from the product stream, increasing product purity and plant productivity.
For applications requiring high product purity, high-intensity Wet Magnetic Drum Separator models are available, capable of separating very fine and weakly magnetic particles even from dense materials.
Additionally, Wet Magnetic Drum Separators can be used in coal washing and beneficiation processes.
Thanks to their special design, Wet Magnetic Drum Separators can be easily installed in existing production lines without interrupting operations. Their low energy consumption and minimal labor requirements provide significant savings in both power and manpower.
Wet Magnetic Drum Separators are designed with different flow types depending on the characteristics of the ore to be processed.
Slurry feed is transferred to the Wet Magnetic Drum Separator tank via a collector feeder. From there, magnetic minerals adhere to the drum shell due to the magnetic field and are carried along the rotation direction to be discharged into the magnetic concentrate chute. Non-magnetic materials, which are not attracted by the drum, exit the machine through the discharge collector.
