As the AKSA Process Engineering team, we conducted an on-site technical inspection at a metal recycling facility operating in Germany, where a metal recycling line designed and installed by our team is currently in operation. During the visit, the line’s operational continuity, separation quality, and overall process stability were evaluated under real operating conditions.
The installed system consists of 8 Eddy Current Separators and 2 Stainless Steel Separators, and on-site observations confirmed that the system is operating in line with the targeted performance criteria.

Overall Line Configuration and Operational Continuity
The first stage of the site inspection focused on the general layout of the recycling line, material flow behavior, and synchronization between equipment. The following aspects were reviewed:
Material flow stability throughout the line
Load distribution between separation units
Process fluctuations during continuous operation
Equipment behavior under steady-state conditions
The assessment confirmed stable, uninterrupted operation and a well-balanced process flow.

Performance Evaluation of Eddy Current Separators
The performance of the 8 installed Eddy Current Separators was examined in detail with respect to non-ferrous metal recovery. The evaluation focused on:
Separation accuracy and metal loss rates
Performance variations across different particle size ranges
Rotor speed and magnetic field behavior
Purity of recovered non-ferrous metals
On-site observations verified high separation efficiency and consistent recovery quality.
Inspection of Stainless Steel Separation Systems
The two Stainless Steel Separators play a critical role in recovering difficult-to-separate metal fractions. The following parameters were assessed:
Stainless steel recovery efficiency
Magnetic field stability
Recovery rates in fine and medium fractions
Post-separation metal purity
The results confirmed that the systems achieve the targeted quality and recovery levels.

Observed Process Advantages
Key process benefits identified during the site visit include:
High separation precision
Continuous and reliable operation
Balanced material flow
Equipment configuration suitable for long-term operation
These findings demonstrate that the installed line delivers reliable and sustainable performance under real plant conditions.

Collaboration and Hosting
The plant team hosted our visit in a highly professional and welcoming manner. Strong technical communication and collaboration contributed significantly to the success of the project. We would like to thank the entire team for their hospitality and constructive cooperation.
AKSA Process Engineering remains committed to providing process solutions that enhance efficiency and sustainability in metal recycling, supported by continuous on-site technical expertise.
